Murals

Amapas Stairs
Spanning ten flights of the Amapas Stairs, this mural unfolds as a layered visual narrative of Puerto Vallarta. Built from the symbols, colors, and rhythms that define the city, the work transforms a daily pathway into something immersive, playful, and alive.
Designed to be interactive, each mural has a QR code to direct you to what the symbols represent and how they impact Puerto Vallarta. It is not meant to be viewed from a distance, but experienced, climbed, and lived in.
Created with the help of over twenty local volunteers, the mural is deeply rooted in community. It stands as something made for Puerto Vallarta, by Puerto Vallarta, about Puerto Vallarta. A shared gesture that reflects the spirit of the place and the people who give it its energy.
